PRIVATE ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS – We conduct private astrophotography workshops for those interested in learning the subject in depth and privately at selected remote, outstanding locations.
LEARN FROM THE BEST IN INDIA – If you would like to take your astrophotography skills to the highest, learn from the best astrophotographer in India, Ajay Talwar. You may like to excel in various genres of astrophotography, viz. shoot TWAN style; make 360° x 180° immersive panoramas; Stunning Time Lapse movies, stack and process Deep Sky images.
One-to-One sessions are quite focused, and the learning is fast and specific, as all the attention is given to the learner.
A private workshop can be arranged for up to a maximum of four participants.
A date can be fixed according to the phase of the Moon and availability of a date in Ajay Talwar’s calendar. Generally the clear months in north India are October to April.

Himalayas have the best dark sky for creating unique astrophotos in India, and we have identified several wonderful spots in the Himalaya. Some of the spots are derivable and some others are reached by short treks.
Previously private workshops have been held on location at Leh, Pangong Lake, Munsiyari, Thamari Kund, Majkhali, Binsar, Naukuchiya Taal, Surkanda Devi Peak, Hatu Peak, Devasthal Peak etc.
Alternatively you may like to select a location of your own choice that you have been to or experienced before.
We have at our disposal large inventory of equipment for astrophotography. The equipment inventory is ever increasing, and kept state of the art, constantly. Our equipment is available for such private workshops. There are no separate charges for bringing equipment to the private workshop.
Alternatively we can suggest the best equipment that you may like to purchase (or hire from camera rentals) for the workshop.
The charges for Private Workshops are as follows
- One-To-One workshop – Rs 25,000/- per night of workshop, on location.
- Group of Maximum Four Participants – Rs 40,000/- per night of workshop, on location.
- GST of 18% is applicable, to be added to the above.
- All travel, equipment transportation from Gurugram to the location and back.
- Complete local hospitality, for trainer and assistant.
- There are no separate charges for equipment.
- 30% charges, non-refundable, to be paid in advance to reserve the dates.
